Juicing Benefits

Recently, the National Cancer Institute began a campaign to get people to eat more fruits and vegetables. The recommendation was to eat five servings of fruit and three servings of vegetables a day. A diet high in fruits and vegetables will prevent or cure a wide range of ailments.

Juicing is not the same as eating fruits and vegetables. Even though your body definitely needs the fiber that comes from eating fruits and vegetables, juice is assimilated and absorbed quickly into the blood stream without putting a load on the digestive system.

A couple of years ago, our family purchased a juicer, and we have been juicing ever since. We do not juice every day in our family, since it can be a bit time consuming. However, we do try to juice as often as possible.

Many people have been cured of illnesses by juice therapy. If you are sick, or need more energy, juicing can make a huge difference in the way you feel.
