Laughter is pure and can surely cure.What ails my heart would soon departIf I had a dose of laughter.

I can't be strong for very long.I'm sinking fast, unless at lastyou give me a dose of laughter.

I don't need a pill for my ill.I'm just spent in lamentand require a dose of laughter.
